Description
The DT-1180 Electromagnetic Radiation Detector is an essential tool for accurately measuring electromagnetic radiation. It features a built-in electromagnetic sensor controlled by a microchip, providing precise radiation values on a clear LCD digital display. This versatile device allows you to test average or peak values and save data with a single key for future reference. The large backlit LCD screen ensures clear visibility of readings.
Ideal for detecting EMF emissions from TVs, computers, printers, microwave ovens, refrigerators, cell towers, and low-frequency household appliances. It's also useful for ghost hunting. Understanding the principle of radiation, where electric current generates magnetic fields and vice versa, helps you realize that wherever there's current, there's radiation.

Measurement Procedure:
- Press the power switch and aim at the electrical appliance to be tested.
- Slowly approach the object to be measured until contact is made; the closer to the object, the higher the electromagnetic radiation value.
- Change the angle of the instrument during measurement for better results.
- If the power of the measured object is turned off, the instrument reading should return to zero unless there is other interference.
Battery Instructions:
- Replace the battery when the test data becomes small or does not alarm.
- Remove the battery when the instrument is not in use for storage.
