The MH2000-CH4 measures methane with a catalytic combustion sensor and an internal sampling pump. This pump methane detector displays CH4 concentration over a 0-100% LEL range, with 1% LEL resolution. It is available in Standard and High Performance sensor configurations, both using the same portable housing and pump controls.
Readings and Pump Controls
Adjust the pump suction through ten settings, with a maximum flow of 1 L/min. The LCD dot-matrix display presents the measured gas, concentration, unit, time and battery status. The interface supports English and Chinese, and the instrument includes temperature and pressure compensation.
Two alarm stages have adjustable set points. Sound, light and vibration provide alarm indication, with an audible alarm rated at 85 dB. Self-check, zero calibration and factory reset functions are available through the controls. Use the supplied instructions and your methane-monitoring procedure for setup, calibration, checks and alarm handling.

The Standard configuration is not recommended for diesel or acetylene environments. High Performance provides poisoning resistance, while retaining the same methane range and resolution. Choose the sensor configuration for the gases and conditions in your measurement procedure. The configuration is selected when ordering and is not a switchable operating mode.
This product is supplied as a methane measurement configuration. The sensor grade does not add independently calibrated channels for other gases, and poisoning resistance does not remove the need for instrument checks.

Battery and Supplied Package
A 3.6 V, 2300 mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery powers the instrument. Charging takes approximately four to six hours. The engineering-plastic housing is rated IP65 and measures 205 x 75 x 32 mm; the instrument weighs about 300 g.
The package includes one detector, a charging/data cable, an instruction manual and an aluminum carrying case. Data recording and PC export are optional functions and are not included in these base configurations. The charging/data cable does not by itself enable those functions.
Photographs show the shared series housing, so demonstration gas labels and readings may differ from the supplied CH4 version. The carrying-case photograph illustrates the equipment and case appearance, rather than a two-detector package.

When Will My Order Ship?
For Standard Shipping, we aim to pack and ship out your order within 4 business days. During special periods, such as heavy order processing or local inventory shortages that require deployment, please expect it to take an additional day or two for processing. We ship five days a week, Monday through Friday.
You will receive a shipment confirmation with tracking information via email when your order has shipped. Once you receive this email, we cannot change or cancel your order.
Can I Change The Shipping Address On My Order?
Please contact us immediately via email if you realize that you gave us the wrong shipping address — if it hasn't shipped yet, we might be able to correct it before it goes out the door.If your order ships to the address provided and is returned to us as undeliverable, then you are responsible for paying the cost of shipping again to resend it to you. If you decide you do not want your order reshipped, we'll refund you for the products less the original shipping charges, once your order returns to our warehouse. My first impression after opening and installing batteries was that this meter is very well built considering the price and manufacturer. I had read some reviews stating that it's amp measurements were not accurate below 5 amps, I haven't seen any issues in any measurements I've taken, even side by side with my fluke meters. I've successfully taken accurate amp, voltage and continuity measurements with this ETCR6920B, the display is nice and legible. I haven't tried storing data and making transfers to a PC yet, the soft case is good enough for storage on a shelf and the test leads are of good quality and rated for 1000v. There's nothing bad to say about this meter especially when you consider the price, it's a really great meter.
