Description
Description
The Linshang LS108 blue light lens transmission meter compares optical performance of eyeglass lenses, sunglasses and other small transparent samples. A single 1mm test aperture provides 395nm violet transmission, 430nm blue light transmission and photopic visible light transmission. All three results appear together on a color LCD, making it practical to compare different lens samples at the same test position.

Lens testing at three optical channels
The 395nm and 430nm channels give wavelength-specific readings. The visible channel uses a 380–760nm response matched to the CIE photopic luminosity function. This combination helps optical retailers and lens processors compare transmission behavior without changing instruments between these measurements.
Four display interfaces provide transmission and rejection views together with a UV400 indicator. The indicator is a screening aid for the tested sample. Use the individual channel readings when comparing lens types or recording a specific measurement.

Set up a repeatable comparison
Start the instrument with the test position empty and allow its automatic calibration to establish the 100% reference. Place the intended test area of the lens over the aperture and keep its position steady while reading the screen. The small aperture is useful for finished lenses mounted in a frame as well as loose samples.
Chinese and English display options support daily use at a counter or inspection bench. Consistent sample placement and clean optical surfaces help maintain comparable results across a batch. The stated accuracy applies to colorless, uniform transparent materials within the specified transmission range.
