FAQs

How often should I calibrate the HT1000?

For professional use, perform a zero check before each shift and a span check every 6 months with certified CO gas.

Can I change the alarm level?

The audible alarm is factory-set at 200 ppm per OSHA short-term exposure limits and is not user-adjustable.

Does it store readings?

The Max Hold function keeps the highest reading since power-on, useful for tracing intermittent leaks.

Compare the Relevant Alternative

ST9700 adds ambient-temperature measurement and an adjustable alarm setting to its CO display. HT1000 emphasizes hold and maximum readings. Both product pages state a 0-1000 ppm CO span, so the additional functions and alarm controls are useful points of comparison.

Questions Before Ordering

Is maximum reading the same as a downloadable log?

No downloadable recording function is established by a maximum-reading function alone. Check the model description for the specific records you need.

Can I use the alarm threshold as an exposure recommendation?

A product alarm threshold describes the instrument behavior. Configure and use monitoring equipment according to the supplied instructions and the applicable site procedure.
