Description
The ST9700 handheld carbon monoxide meter measures CO from 0-1000 ppm and displays ambient temperature separately. Use its color LCD and adjustable sound/light alarm for portable CO measurements. It requires three AAA alkaline batteries, which are not included.
CO readings and ambient temperature
The electrochemical sensor measures carbon monoxide with 1 ppm resolution. The temperature function covers ambient air from 0-50 Degree C; it does not provide a high-temperature flue probe or a combustion-analysis function.

Does it measure CO2 or multiple gases?
This configuration measures carbon monoxide (CO). Carbon dioxide (CO2) and other gases require instruments with the corresponding sensors.
Can the temperature reading be used for boiler flue analysis?
The temperature function measures ambient air within the stated range. Choose a dedicated instrument and probe for flue-temperature or combustion-analysis work.
Are batteries included?
No. Prepare three AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries before use.
