Description
Description
The Linshang LS255 digital Webster hardness tester checks accessible metal profiles, sheets and tubes with a one-handed clamp action. It is suited to aluminum alloys, brass, copper and soft steel within its supported material settings and hardness range. An OLED display shows the result directly, and automatic data locking keeps the reading visible after the measurement.

Read Webster values and converted scales
The primary Webster range is 0–20 HWA, with 0.1 HWA resolution. Built-in conversions provide HRE, HRF, HRB, HV and HB readings for the selected material, reducing the need to consult separate conversion tables. Use the matching material setting and scale for the part being inspected.
Samples must be 0.6–8mm thick. Tubes require an internal diameter greater than 10mm so the test position can fit between the anvil and indenter. The stated accuracy is ±0.5 HWA, with reduced accuracy below 4 HWA and above 17 HWA.

Record and share inspection readings
The instrument stores nine results and connects by Bluetooth to the UT and HL Android app for extended storage, viewing, export and sharing. A rechargeable battery and USB Type-C charging support portable inspection work. The supplied reference block supports routine hardness checks.
Clean the test surface and follow the reference-calibration procedure before use. Apply the handle force promptly and fully, keeping the tester steady until the measurement beep. Maintain at least 6mm between test indentations and at least 5mm from an indentation center to an edge.
