Description
Description
Capture four spectral bands during a curing check with the Linshang LS138 four-band UV energy meter. The disc-shaped instrument records irradiance and accumulated energy for UVA, UVB, UVC and UVV, together with temperature and exposure duration. It suits process checks on UV curing, coating, exposure and printing equipment where the band-by-band result matters.

Four spectral bands in one run
Select one to four measurement bands before starting. Each band has its own response range and peak reference. The display presents band results, irradiance curves and a temperature curve so changes during the run can be reviewed together.
| UVC | 230–280nm, 254nm peak |
|---|---|
| UVB | 280–315nm, 310nm peak |
| UVA | 315–400nm, 365nm peak |
| UVV | 395–445nm, 420nm peak |
| Irradiance range / resolution | 0–2000mW/cm² / 0.01mW/cm² |
| Energy range | 0–999999mJ/cm² |
| Accuracy | Below 5mW/cm², ±0.5mW/cm². At or above 5mW/cm², ±10%H with ±5% typical. H is reference irradiance. |
| Temperature measurement range | -55 to +125 degrees C |
| Instrument operating range | 0–100 degrees C, non-condensing conditions |
| Sampling / stored data | 2048 samples/s / irradiance 32 readings/s and temperature 2 readings/s |
| Recording duration | Up to 32 minutes |
| Display / power | 240 x 160 LCD / two AAA alkaline batteries |
| Dimensions / net weight | 120mm diameter x 13mm thick / 225g |

Recording modes and Windows reports
Manual mode starts and stops a measurement through the instrument controls. Automatic mode waits for its trigger conditions, which helps when a conveyor must travel before reaching the lamp. A run ends at the selected stopping condition or the 32-minute recording limit.
The USB connection supports Windows software for reading stored data, reviewing each band's irradiance curve and the temperature curve, exporting measurements to Excel and generating reports. Keep the band selection, smoothing and measurement position consistent when comparing runs.
Sensor care and positioning
The optical sensors are on the back of the instrument and should face the source at the intended test location. Keep them clean and protect them from humidity during storage. The temperature sensor's displayed range is distinct from the instrument's operating conditions, so check the equipment environment before placing the meter in a process line.
