Description

The MH2000-HCN Standard detector measures hydrogen cyanide concentration with an electrochemical sensor and internal pump sampling. Choose a 0-10, 0-50 or 0-100 ppm version for the concentration interval required by your measurement procedure.

Three Standard HCN Range Options

Each option starts at zero and has a different upper measuring limit. The selected range identifies the version supplied with the order. A three-option menu represents three instrument configurations; one detector is supplied with its selected span.

This link covers the Standard electrochemical configuration. A separate HCN configuration is available for smelting applications when the measurement specification calls for that sensor arrangement. Identify the gas, performance configuration and range together when selecting the instrument.

Display and Sampling Controls

The internal pump has ten adjustable suction levels, with flow up to 1 L/min. The LCD displays concentration alongside the gas type, unit, battery level and time. English and Chinese interfaces are available. Units can be switched between µmol/mol, ppm and mg/m³, with 1 µmol/mol equal to 1 ppm.

Adjustable setpoints control the two-stage sound and light alarms, and vibration is also available as an alarm output. Instrument setup includes self-check, zero calibration, factory reset, and temperature and pressure compensation functions. Use the supplied instructions for the selected HCN version.

Recording and Supplied Package

Data recording and USB download or printing are optional functions. The recording option stores more than 100,000 readings, with intervals adjustable from 5 to 3600 seconds. Specify these functions when the procedure requires recorded measurements or PC transfer.

The standard package contains the detector, carrying case, charging/data cable and instruction manual. Gallery photographs illustrate the shared pump housing and controls. Screen readings are illustrative. The order contains one detector, and recording is supplied only when selected as an optional function.
