Description
Description
The Linshang LS110A split transmission meter measures visible-light transmission, 365 nm UV rejection and 940 nm infrared rejection on installed glass. Its separate main and auxiliary units support checks on automotive windshields, architectural glazing and larger film-covered panels.
Three optical readings across an installed pane
The visible channel covers 380–760 nm with CIE photopic weighting. The UV and infrared values describe rejection at their specified source wavelengths, and all three readings appear on the display together. Record the 940 nm channel when comparing film samples or sharing results.
Place the two halves on opposite sides of a sample area greater than 40 x 40 mm. The magnetic split design and parallel optical path allow testing on fitted panes. For glass thicker than 20 mm, support the halves by hand as magnetic holding strength decreases with separation.

Pair, align and complete self-test
Start with both parts together and no sample between them. Power on each half, align the laser spots with the target marks and wait for self-test. The starting display shows 100% VLT and 0% IRR/UVR.
After inserting the sample, use HOLD to retain the result for viewing. Release hold before the next check. Direct the alignment beams at their target marks and measure away from direct sunlight for consistent conditions.

| IR peak wavelength | 940 nm |
| Visible-light response | 380–760 nm, CIE photopic luminosity function |
| Accuracy | ±2% for colorless, uniformly transparent material |
| Resolution | 0.1% below 10%; 1% in other ranges |
| Sample size | Greater than 40 x 40 mm |
| Power | Built-in rechargeable lithium battery |
| Dimensions | 130 x 70 x 84 mm |
| Weight | 630 g |
| Operating conditions | 0–50°C; 0–85% RH, non-condensing |

Recharge for repeated site measurements
Built-in lithium batteries power the two units. Their USB charging connections allow both halves to be charged for the next series of checks. The meter automatically shuts down after fifteen minutes without operation.
The accuracy specification applies to colorless, uniformly transparent material. Keep the same instrument, alignment and sample position when evaluating a series, particularly when the glass has a colored or optical coating.
