Description

The Linshang LS253 multi-probe Leeb hardness tester checks metal hardness using a detachable impact device. Select a D, DC, DL or C kit to match the workpiece and available access. Each option contains one main unit and one selected impact device, together with a standard Leeb reference block and a compatible Bluetooth thermal printer.

Select one impact-device kit

D is the general-purpose choice for ordinary metal parts. The shorter DC device helps reach internal holes and confined areas, while the slender DL suits narrow grooves, tooth surfaces and bore bottoms. C uses a lower impact force for appropriate smaller or thinner parts. The complete set of four devices is shown for comparison in the selection illustrations.

Digital dual-coil technology processes the signal in the probe, with a built-in direction sensor for impact-direction compensation. Select the material and supported hardness scale before testing. Available conversions depend on the impact device and material.

Workpiece preparation and measurement

Use a clean, smooth metal surface and keep the support ring firmly in contact during impact. Lighter or thinner parts require coupling to a firm support. D, DC and DL have a 25mm uncoupled thickness requirement and 3mm coupled minimum. For C, these figures are 10mm and 1mm. Match the preparation method to the workpiece before interpreting a result.

QC mode checks the reading against selected limits. Statistics summarize the latest nine valid measurements, and calibration against the reference block supports routine checks. Bluetooth links to the Android UT and HL app for data sharing or to the compatible printer for on-site records. The instrument switches between its app and printer connections.
