Description
The Linshang LS126A UV LED light meter measures irradiance and accumulated energy where a conventional round probe is difficult to place. Its separate sensor is 7.2mm wide with a 3mm test aperture, providing access to narrow measurement positions in curing and exposure equipment. The spectral response covers 340–420nm, with calibration referenced to a 395nm UV LED source.
Fit the probe into a narrow measurement position
The probe measures 36 x 7.2 x 4.7mm and connects to the handheld unit through a 0.8m cable. Position the aperture toward the light source and keep its orientation and distance consistent across comparisons. Typical source wavelengths include 365, 375, 385, 395 and 405nm within the specified response band.
Irradiance and accumulated energy
A 2048-readings-per-second sampling rate supports measurement of changing light output. The instrument displays real-time, maximum, minimum and average irradiance, measurement duration and accumulated energy. Select smoothing for 50Hz or 60Hz AC-powered light sources, or switch smoothing off for a suitable DC source.
HOLD retains the displayed result and saves the measurement record. The instrument keeps nine records, with the most recent accessible first. Auto-off can be enabled to shut down after ten minutes without operation.

Handling between checks
Keep the photosensitive opening clean and store the instrument in a dry environment. Arrange the sensor and cable before energizing the UV source, using the exposure controls required for the equipment. Record the source wavelength, position and selected units with the reading to make later comparisons consistent.
