Description

A pump combustible gas detector brings the air sample into the MH2000-EX/LEL for catalytic combustion measurement. Both sensor configurations cover 0-100% LEL with 1% LEL resolution. Choose Standard or High Performance when ordering; the sensor configuration is supplied in the instrument and is not a software upgrade.

Choose the Catalytic Configuration

Order option Sensor configuration Selection detail
Standard Conventional catalytic combustion Not recommended for diesel or acetylene environments
High Performance Industrial catalytic sensor with poisoning resistance Supports combustible-gas monitoring in diesel and acetylene environments

The measured gas and calibration must match the measurement task. Select the sensor option using the gases and conditions in your monitoring procedure. The High Performance configuration provides poisoning resistance; it does not remove the need for instrument checks and calibration.

Pumped Sampling, Display and Alarms

The internal pump provides up to 1 L/min flow, with ten suction settings available through the controls. Temperature and pressure compensation support the measurement functions. The dot-matrix LCD shows the gas type, concentration, unit, time and battery status, and the interface can be switched between English and Chinese.

Two adjustable alarm stages provide sound, light and vibration indications. The audible alarm is rated at 85 dB. Self-check, zero calibration and factory reset functions are available on the instrument. Follow the supplied instructions and your site's gas-monitoring procedures for setup, checks and alarm handling.

Power and Supplied Package

A 3.6 V, 2300 mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery powers the detector. Charging takes approximately four to six hours. The instrument weighs about 300 g and measures 205 x 75 x 32 mm, with an engineering-plastic housing rated IP65.

The package includes one detector, a charging/data cable, an instruction manual and an aluminum carrying case. Data recording and PC data export are optional functions and are not included in these base configurations. A supplied charging/data cable does not by itself enable those functions.

The product photographs show the shared series housing. Demonstration gas labels and screen readings may differ from the ordered combustible-gas configuration. The carrying-case photograph illustrates the case and instrument appearance, rather than a two-detector package.
