Description

For portable H2S concentration checks, this pump hydrogen sulfide detector draws an air sample to an electrochemical sensor. The MH2000-H2S combines adjustable suction, a concentration display and audible, visual and vibration alarms in a 300 g instrument. Select one of three supplied configurations: 0-50, 0-100 or 0-200 ppm.

H2S Range and Reading Detail

Order the measurement span required for your work. The three options are separate instrument configurations, rather than three full-scale ranges that can be switched on one detector. All measure hydrogen sulfide through the same internal-pump sampling method.

  • 0-50 ppm: H2S concentration measurement across a 50 ppm span.
  • 0-100 ppm: H2S concentration measurement with 0.01 ppm resolution.
  • 0-200 ppm: H2S concentration measurement across a 200 ppm span.

The LCD presents the gas type, concentration, unit, time and battery status. Concentration can be displayed in ppm, umol/mol or mg/m3, with automatic unit conversion. English and Chinese interfaces are available. A reading in umol/mol has the same numerical value as a reading in ppm.

Adjustable Sampling and Alarm Controls

The built-in pump provides up to 1 L/min flow, with ten suction settings. Temperature and pressure compensation support the measurement functions. Self-check, zero calibration and factory reset are available through the instrument controls.

Two alarm stages have adjustable set points. Sound, light and vibration provide alarm indication, with an audible alarm rated at 85 dB. Follow the supplied instructions and your site's gas-monitoring procedures for calibration, instrument checks and alarm handling.

Power, Package and Configuration

The rechargeable lithium-polymer battery is rated at 3.6 V and 2300 mAh. Charging takes approximately four to six hours. The engineering-plastic housing measures 205 x 75 x 32 mm and is rated IP65.

The package includes one detector, a charging/data cable, an instruction manual and an aluminum carrying case. Data recording and PC data export are optional functions and are not included in this standard configuration. The supplied cable does not by itself enable those functions.

This is the standard single-gas H2S configuration. It has no additional CO, oxygen or combustible-gas measurement channels. Product photographs show the shared series housing; demonstration screen labels may differ from the ordered H2S version. The carrying-case photograph illustrates the case and instrument appearance, rather than a two-detector package.
