Description
Description
The Linshang LS332 spectral luminance meter measures the brightness of display screens, backlight panels, lamps and other luminous surfaces. A separate cabled probe supports positioning at the source while the handheld display presents luminance in cd/m² or foot-lamberts. Its range extends from 1 to 1,000,000cd/m² for comparisons across a broad range of emitting surfaces.

Choose the matching light tube and test distance
The set includes a probe with a standard 20mm light tube and an interchangeable 10mm light tube for smaller sources. Select the corresponding aperture in the meter settings after changing tubes. Luminance measurements are specified at a distance of 1m or less, while flicker-frequency measurements require 0.1m or less.
The spectral sensor covers 400–700nm at 10nm intervals. It calculates luminance with photopic weighting, helping compare sources with different spectral distributions under a consistent measurement method.

Review spectral and temporal characteristics
Alongside luminance, the meter displays correlated color temperature, color rendering index, flicker frequency and depth, plus a spectral curve. Current, maximum, minimum and average luminance readings support tracking changes during an inspection. Keep the probe orientation, test distance and selected tube consistent when comparing several screens or lamps.
Store up to nine records locally and connect by USB to the dedicated PC software for reviewing measurements and spectra or exporting data to Excel. Two AA alkaline batteries power the instrument, and the backlit LCD supports handheld use.
