Description

The Linshang LS108H UV IR visible transmission meter brings three optical measurements together for glass, lenses, plastics and other uniform transparent materials. It measures 365nm UV transmission, 940nm infrared transmission and visible light transmission through a single 1mm aperture. A parallel light path supports measurements on both thin and thicker samples placed in the optical opening.

Three readings from one test position

The visible channel covers 380–760nm with a response matched to the CIE photopic luminosity function. UV and infrared channels provide readings at their specified wavelengths. Results appear together on the color LCD, so an operator can see how the same test point behaves in all three channels.

This arrangement is useful for comparing coated glass, molded plastic windows and small lens samples. The compact test spot helps isolate the area of interest while the shared light path avoids moving the sample between separate optical tests.

Compare samples consistently

Power on with no sample in the measurement path and allow the instrument to establish its 100% reference. Place the intended area of the material over the aperture and keep it stable while comparing the readings. Chinese and English display choices are available.

Use clean surfaces and the same sample orientation when checking a batch. The stated transmission accuracy applies to colorless, uniform transparent materials within 0–90% transmission. For colored, patterned or scattering specimens, select the test method according to the material and the intended comparison.
