Description

The Linshang LS126C 254nm UVC light meter records irradiance and accumulated energy from low-pressure mercury lamps. Its external sensor responds over 230–280nm with a 254nm peak reference. The supplied one-meter test hook helps position the sensor for lamp checks, while the handheld unit stores time-based measurements for later review.

Record changes over time

Select a storage interval of 1, 10 or 60 seconds for a recording period of 10, 100 or 600 minutes when automatic shutdown is disabled. A record holds up to 600 sampled values, replacing the oldest values when that limit is reached. The instrument retains up to 25 records.

With timed shutdown enabled, the recording interval is fixed at one second and the shutdown time can be selected from one to ten minutes. Real-time, maximum, minimum and average irradiance appear with duration, a real-time clock and accumulated energy when enabled.

Export and lamp-check setup

Connect by USB to the dedicated PC software to read stored records, display irradiance curves, export measurements to Excel and prepare printed reports. HOLD keeps a current reading visible for recording and review.

Set up the hook and sensor while the UV source is off, then follow the lamp's measurement procedure and appropriate exposure controls. Use the required distance and orientation consistently between checks. Keep the sensor clean and dry, and protect the photosensitive surface during storage. This meter's spectral response is suited to the specified mercury-lamp application.
