The MH2000-N2 is a portable nitrogen detector with pump sampling, a 0-100% Vol measurement range and 0.01% Vol reading resolution. Standard and High Performance options provide two sensor configurations for the same nitrogen concentration range. Select the performance option required for your measurement procedure.
Nitrogen Concentration and Configuration Choice
The internal pump draws the gas sample into the instrument. Adjust suction through ten settings, up to a maximum flow of 1 L/min. The displayed nitrogen concentration is expressed as volume percentage; the 0.01% Vol resolution describes the reading increment, rather than measurement accuracy or a trace-impurity detection limit.
Both performance options retain the 0-100% Vol full scale. The performance selection changes the sensor configuration, rather than adding a second gas channel or a different range. Match the named gas, full scale and calibration requirements to your procedure before ordering.
This is the nitrogen configuration. A procedure requiring an oxygen concentration reading requires an instrument specified for oxygen measurement. Select the instrument by the measurement required, and follow its supplied instructions for sampling, calibration and alarm handling.
Display and Alarm Setup
The LCD dot-matrix display shows gas type, concentration, unit, battery status and time. English and Chinese interfaces support instrument setup. Temperature and pressure compensation, self-check, zero calibration and factory reset controls are available.
Set the two alarm stages for your monitoring procedure. Sound, light and vibration provide alarm indications, with an audible alarm rated at 85 dB. The controls allow adjustable alarm points; follow the instrument instructions when checking their operation.
