The MH2000-CxHy is a portable PID hydrocarbon detector with an internal sampling pump and a choice of PPM or PPB sensor configuration. PPM options cover 0-100, 0-200, 0-1000, 0-2000 and 0-3000 ppm. PPB options cover 0-10 and 0-50 ppm with 0.001 ppm (1 ppb) resolution.
PID Measurement and Range Selection
Photoionization detection responds to compounds that can be ionized by the installed lamp. A hydrocarbon-vapor reading therefore depends on the compounds present, the lamp configuration and the calibration basis. For a specific compound or known mixture, confirm target compatibility and the appropriate calibration basis before ordering.
When several detectable compounds are present, the displayed result reflects their combined PID response. The instrument does not identify the individual components of a mixture. Interpret readings using the calibration and response information appropriate to your target vapor.
Choose the sensor configuration and one measurement range when ordering. The PPB configuration provides 0.001 ppm reading increments for its two lower concentration ranges. PPB identifies the sensor configuration; the range values are expressed in ppm. Resolution describes the reading increment and is distinct from measurement accuracy or a detection limit.
Each detector is supplied with its selected configuration and full scale. Select a range that covers your expected concentrations and suits the reporting requirements of your procedure.

Sampling and Alarm Controls
Adjust the internal pump through ten suction settings, with a maximum flow of 1 L/min. The LCD dot-matrix display shows gas type, concentration, unit, battery status and time, with English and Chinese interface options.
Two alarm stages have adjustable set points. Sound, light and vibration provide alarm indications, including an audible alarm rated at 85 dB. Temperature and pressure compensation, self-check, zero calibration and factory reset controls support instrument setup. Follow the supplied instructions for calibration, checks and alarm handling.

Charging and Supplied Package
The detector uses a 3.6 V, 2300 mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. Charging takes approximately four to six hours. The engineering-plastic housing is rated IP65 and measures 205 x 75 x 32 mm; instrument weight is about 300 g.
Supplied items are one detector, a charging/data cable, an instruction manual and an aluminum carrying case. Data logging and PC export are optional and excluded from this base configuration.

When Will My Order Ship?
For Standard Shipping, we aim to pack and ship out your order within 4 business days. During special periods, such as heavy order processing or local inventory shortages that require deployment, please expect it to take an additional day or two for processing. We ship five days a week, Monday through Friday.
You will receive a shipment confirmation with tracking information via email when your order has shipped. Once you receive this email, we cannot change or cancel your order.
Can I Change The Shipping Address On My Order?
Please contact us immediately via email if you realize that you gave us the wrong shipping address — if it hasn't shipped yet, we might be able to correct it before it goes out the door.If your order ships to the address provided and is returned to us as undeliverable, then you are responsible for paying the cost of shipping again to resend it to you. If you decide you do not want your order reshipped, we'll refund you for the products less the original shipping charges, once your order returns to our warehouse. My first impression after opening and installing batteries was that this meter is very well built considering the price and manufacturer. I had read some reviews stating that it's amp measurements were not accurate below 5 amps, I haven't seen any issues in any measurements I've taken, even side by side with my fluke meters. I've successfully taken accurate amp, voltage and continuity measurements with this ETCR6920B, the display is nice and legible. I haven't tried storing data and making transfers to a PC yet, the soft case is good enough for storage on a shelf and the test leads are of good quality and rated for 1000v. There's nothing bad to say about this meter especially when you consider the price, it's a really great meter.
