Description
The Linshang LS155 color haze meter measures color, haze, transmittance and liquid appearance in transparent and translucent materials. Its open measurement area accommodates plastic sheets, glass, films and appropriately prepared liquid samples. A 7-inch touchscreen provides local operation, with USB-connected Windows software for measurement records and reports.
Fit the setup to sheets or liquids
A D/0 optical geometry, full-spectrum LED source and spectral measurement from 400–700nm support material inspection. Select a 5mm, 14mm or 25mm aperture to suit the test area, together with D65/10°, A/2° or C/2° illuminant and observer settings. A typical measurement takes about three seconds.
Vertical placement suits flat sheets and films. Horizontal placement supports liquids when used with the appropriate cuvette and optional holder. Choose the measurement arrangement and compensated or non-compensated haze method to match the specimen and your test procedure.
Alongside haze, clarity and transmittance, the LS155 provides CIE Lab, LCh and Yxy color data, spectral transmittance, turbidity and Pt-Co/Hazen color. These functions allow clear-material and liquid-color comparisons to be recorded on the same instrument.
Store and review inspection results
Save up to 1,000 records on the instrument and use the Windows software to review, export and print inspection data. The touchscreen can be used in Chinese or English. Repeatability of ≤0.03 is specified for 30 readings at three-second intervals after warm-up and calibration on a standard plate with approximately 80% transmittance and 30% haze.
