Description

Powder moisture checks with a 230 mm probe

The MS350 high-frequency moisture meter uses a 230 mm probe for spot checks in powder, soil, sand and other compatible bulk materials. Its 0-80% measuring range and backlit display support portable sampling in bags, containers and material piles. Match the sample to the meter's material setting before comparing results.

MS350 or MS350A: choose the probe reach

Choose the MS350 when its 230 mm probe suits your sampling point. The MS350A powder and pellet moisture meter uses a 280 mm needle. Probe length affects access to the sample; it does not establish the calibrated material list or measurement accuracy.

Material fit and repeatable sampling

The application list includes ceramic powder, coal powder, sand, grain and soil. Select the appropriate material setting and sample preparation for the material being tested. A single displayed range does not make one setting suitable for every powder formulation.

Keep the material, insertion depth and sampling conditions consistent when comparing readings, and take readings at several representative points. For a new formulation or a purchase tied to an acceptance limit, ask Mcooh product support about the material and test method before ordering.
