Browse window tint meters and solar-film transmission testers for comparing film samples or checking suitable glass. Choose visible light transmission (VLT), UV or infrared measurements according to the result you need; this selection also includes dedicated UV and IR power meters.

Match the meter to the sample

  • Loose film: Slot-style meters suit samples within their thickness limit. The LS160 takes samples thinner than 0.8 mm.
  • Installed glass: Compare split instruments such as the LS110 for VLT checks with access to both sides. Check sample size, alignment and curvature limits in the manual.
  • UV and IR comparisons: Check the wavelength or spectral band and whether the display reports transmission, rejection or power. Different test bands can give different results.

Use the selected model's reference-check procedure and keep the glass and optical surfaces clean. An IR rejection reading alone does not describe total solar-energy performance, and a VLT reading alone does not establish legal compliance.
